IHM FRANCE® was founded after the separation of Annecy Electronique. The company began operating in 1973 with the creation of a department for the manufacture of printed circuit boards by Alain Gyullot. The company grew steadily during a period of 17 years under the management of Bernard Wintz. After it was taken over by Stéphane Sorlin in 1995, the company specialised in the manufacture of screen-printed products, keyboards and intelligent control systems.
On 1 June 2014, IHM FRANCE® was taken over by the parent company FIMOR, based in Le Mans, making available its experience in the production of printed circuit boards and flexible keyboards. This completed the range of industrial keyboards in the group. The acquisition coincided with the creation of a limited company with a capital of €300,000 based in Le Mans. The production site in St. Jorioz, its staff and its manager Mr Didier Roger were all retained.
