SST Sensing's optical level switches are solid state switches, which means there are no unreliable moving parts. They are compact, protrude only slightly into the application and are capable of detecting even small amounts of liquid. The intelligent level sensors are not excessively influenced by ambient light and are not affected by foam in the air or small bubbles in the liquid. They are able to withstand high operating temperatures and harsh liquid media over long periods of time, resulting in a very robust switch. If the standard range of optical level switches does not meet customer requirements, the housing, cables and connections can be customised to meet individual needs. Built-in features such as PWM outputs and insensitivity to moving liquids can also be incorporated.
